Company Introduction

Yunnan Yuntianhua Petrochemical Co., Ltd., established on August 22, 2012, is a petrochemical enterprise jointly funded by Yuntianhua Group Co., Ltd., Yunnan Industrial investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., and China Development Bank Development Fund Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 1.108 billion yuan. Relying on LPG and propylene provided by the Yunnan ten-million-ton-level oil refining base, the company carries out the downstream deep processing project.

By so far, the company has completed and put into service the "250,000 tons/year polypropylene plant," the "340,000 tons/year industrial iso-octane plant," the "3X220 tons/hour cogeneration plant," and the "15,000 tons/year liquid ammonia refining plant." Among of which, the PP and iso-octane plants applied the world state-of art process, upgrade with IPC system, and honored as one of China's first Excellence-Class Smart Factories.

Relying on the Yunnan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and R&D Experimental Center, the Company constructed its own analysis and R&D lab, with area of 3,265 m' and more than 300 sets of advanced analytical equipment, for the various polyolefin products performance testing.The Company owns more than 100 work-team consisting of senior engineers and experienced professional technicians is specially dedicated to customized products research. The Company has established long-term cooperative relations with well- known research institutes, such as Grace, CNPC Lanzhou Chemical Research Center, Sichuan University and others to focus on the technology improvements, new product development and technical services.On November 24, 2024, the company passed the international standard ISO-56005 system certification.

The PP plant adopted the advanced Unipol™ gas-phase process technology from the United States and commenced production in November 2017. As of January 2025, 38 different homopolymer and random copolymer products can be produced. The products have a wide melt index range from 0.2 to 100 g/10 min, and the xylene-soluble matter range can be adjusted between 0.7 - 9%. Those products are wildly applied in the fibers, injection molding, non-woven fabrics, pipes, medical supplies, cast films, ternary heat-seal films, blow molding, and BOPP films.
