Vietnam's Thriving Plastics and Rubber Industry Takes Center Stage at HanoiPlas 2024

Vietnam's plastics industry, a key driver of the nation's economic growth, will be prominently showcased at the upcoming HanoiPlas 2024 - The 12^th Hanoi International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition. This key exhibition is scheduled on June 5-8, 2024 at I.C.E. Hanoi, marking a significant shift as it changes as it transitions into an independent platform exclusively dedicated to the plastics and rubber industry.

The Vietnamese plastics sector has flourished in recent years, playing a vital role in supplying critical materials across diverse industries such as electronics, textiles, consumer goods, and automotive. With increased investments, Vietnam has become a key production hub for plastic products, meeting the needs of major international markets.

HanoiPlas 2024 is set to focus on the remarkable growth of Vietnam's plastics industry, with more than 200 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, including China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam, showcasing state-of-the-art technology and new products driving the sector forward. Industry players will have a unique opportunity to witness these developments firsthand across 9,000 square meters of exhibition space – the largest in the event's history.

The exhibition is anticipated to be an engaging and well-supported event, with strong backing from esteemed organizations. It is organized by the Ministry of Industry & Trade - Vinexad National Trade Fair & Advertising J.S.C (VINEXAD) and Yorkers Exhibition Service Vietnam, with the Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA) serving as a co-organizer. Official supporters include the Ministry of Industry & Trade, Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA), Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI), Ho Chi Minh Rubber Plastic Manufacturer Association (RUPA), Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association (TMDIA), and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), among others.

At this year's HanoiPlas, several key players in various segments of the machinery market have been highlighted. In the injection machinery sector, prominent companies include Multitech, Shini, Honzen Union, Chuan Lih Fa, Fu Chun Shin, and Yizumi. In the rubber manufacturing domain, INEM and Pan Stone stand out. Shanghai CMIC specializes in soft plastic packaging machinery, including PP woven packaging, plastic pressing, extrusion machinery, and filling machinery. For blown film machines, Kung Hsing is noted for its contributions.

RR Plast is distinguished in the extrusion line market. Recycling solutions are advanced by companies such as Pan Era and Daisaku. The chemical and material segment includes key players like Dynea Pakistan, Planet Asia, Datacolor, and Ascend. Lastly, the plastic bag manufacturing sector features notable firms such as Chao Wei, Cosmo, and Dipo.
