Description
Stearic acid is a PVC heat stabilizer with excellent lubricity and good light
and heat stabilization effects. In PVC plastic pipes, stearic acid helps prevent
"scorching" during processing. When added in PVC film processing, it acts as
an effective heat stabilizer and can also prevent discoloration of the finished film
caused by exposure to sulfides.
